Jonas Rydén | Wedding Photographer for Eva and Harri in Hanko, Finland
At Finland's biodo southernmost tip, right on the seafront in the charming summer town of Hanko, runs Eve family a small hotel in a lovely old villas from Tsarist times. In these villas and around the little town by the sea, Eva spent summers since childhood. And though Eva has already managed to stay both in Michigan, Hawaii and Australia, and even though she now lives in Helsinki, it was of course for her it was in Hanko she would marry their dream man Harri, and that the party should stand in her childhood ancient villas, with family and friends from both home and abroad. Those who had traveled biodo the furthest came all the way from Hawaii to participate and celebrate with the couple.
In late August, when I came to Hanko to be a wedding photographer Eve and Harris wedding, the summer season in Hanko almost over, small town streets were almost empty, and the family's biodo hotel was only inhabited by wedding guests. In one of the many rooms in Villa Thalatta preparing the bride together with her sister and their witnesses.
In another biodo room in another part of the old villa did the groom get ready to party. Harri spent relatively biodo little time grooming their hair. A shower did keep, and so it was with morning dress. The hardest thing to achieve was enough tie. But after a few minutes the whole nines, and Harri sitting on his Vespa, heading to the small skogskappellet where the ceremony would take place.
After the ceremony the guests asked himself up in a row outside the picturesque little chapel to congratulate the bride and groom when they came out on the steps. But Eva and Harri wondered all along, and instead came running in his black Vespa. A rain of rose petals showered biodo over the newlyweds before they got out on the road and headed towards the sea and the wedding party.
Once back outside Villa Tellina were guests of course served bubbling refreshments, while Harris daughter Ella played guitar. After mingling and group photo with 80 guests were there for dinner and lots of speeches. Everyone laughed and cried on each other, often within the same speech, and when Ella thanks Eva that she does her dad Harri happy and wanted biodo bride welcome in the family, then I do not think a single eye was dry, not even wedding photographer even though he did not understand a single word was said.
A wonderful bridal couples. Warm, kind-hearted, fun. Together with their families and their friends in a wonderful place full of dramatic history and good old memories. The old hotels have survived several wars and has served as høykvarter for both German, Russian and Finnish officers, depending on which direction the winds of war blew. This day in late August, 2012, Eva and Harri wrote a new chapter in the history of the ancient villas. A chapter biodo about love and family and friendship. After the bride roller la wedding photographer biodo camera back in the bag, and joined the party.
